 “My work explores the deconstruction of the structural integrity of marine materials and transforms their industrial purposes to reveal their textures and reflectivity.

In man-made materials, I find patterns and densities that repeat natural forms.”

McDonald received her BFA in Fiber Arts at Nova Scotia College of Art & Design. Her work has been exhibited nationally and in Canada.
